Anyways it was all based on your character like 2K22 was so, I don't see why they wouldn't let you keep and get everything. Rey Mysterio getting Heavyweight champ or WWE champ thats upgrade that makes sense. No point for males getting that because Brock Lesnar, hes not trying to cruiserweight champ, thats a downgrade. In SvR 2009 its pretty much being on airplane and going through titles on any character male or female, females have to go through womens champion first though. I think with getting all the titles and staying loyal to show, could be done through cross brand PPVs, if a show wants to get their title back or steal a title they gotta win it at the cross brand PPV. I think being able to stay on a show like Smackdown and get all the achievements should be doable, the achievements be based on what you do, not so much get every shows title. Say someone gets a really really big push, where they get to keep nxt titles go onto smackdown get the titles and go onto Raw and get the titles, like all of them, Smackdown and Raw main titles have been unified before if I recall. I think in WWE and in actual game, unifying all the titles would be a real big accomplishment. Not just hear it and not see anything going on. They could make a rival on the competing show, make it about ratings and whose the best, and you can see the impact. I think seeing other stuff going on outside of what you are doing is nice. I was hoping the community had learned something I hadnt but I guess we'll find out in a month. I assume they just wanted you to feel very grounded? As opposed to the 2020 myrise where you were already established legendary figures (Which I thought was such a fun twist on things even if i wasnt a huge fan of living in flashbacks, it was still really entertaining and a nice fresh take) Yeah thats a good point, "its not like you get to watch the other show, so why not let you keep both titles?" I hadn't thought of it that way before, but yeah, since the world is basically nonexistant outside of your specific matches, theres really no reason to do this. Thinking about SvR 2009 vs 2K22, 2K22 has a lot more going on, yet I feel SvR 2009 is better. Smackdown vs Raw 2009 was pretty dang good to be honest even though there wasn't too much to do, what they had was enough, getting a point in all the challenges was fun and how limb damage carried onto the next fights too. Going through something you already done all over again is not fun. In 2K22, its not like you get to watch the other show after you leave it in MyRise, so why not let you stay champ? Beats doing the same storyline all over again if you decide to go back to that brand. You could play as Layla and win all the titles on both shows Even if you switched shows you'd still be champ. They would let you collect all the titles. Yep this, this makes it not feel so unique.Ĭonstantly switching shows switching sides, same storylines even though you have a few options what to do, those options storylines dont matter.īecause if you leave and come back to show, you do it all over again! What you did previous doesn't matter. 2k22's myrise was kinda boring and titles meant little. Originally posted by BMN_Narrlequin:Let's hope it's getting better. And they even went the extra mile and had it split up by weightclass too, which imo was them going above and beyond tbh. i really enjoyed the background features and the "classes", I think thats smart design choice. instead there was a couple dozen "quests" and once they were done it was just random stuff with no relation or consistency thereafter. Its obviously too late now to ask for features but it would be nice to be able to choose who you befriend in your own story. in that regard 2020's was better because it was all more coherent (SOMEHOW). There was also no intergender partnerships in 2022's myrise, sure you had a couple matches but they were always one offs. What about relationships? It seems sad that the mode thats all about your story doesnt let you create meaningful relationships whether it be tag, manager, or just allies. So, do we know anything about 2023's my rise? More consistency? the story lines also are nonsensical, you can win the world title and then no one acknowledges it, who decided that was a good idea? I realize it was a bold, ambitious task with 2022's myrise, so I respect the effort, and I did have fun. its just reading text messages and doing random matches. 2022 myrise is both awesome and disappointing at the same time. 2020's was good but I dont remember much about it now. I really like the direction they have been going with it. Do we know anything about My Rise yet? Or you know, whatever nonsense they call it this year.
